The EMPOWER! Program consists of an 8-week Entrepreneurship program, 10 months of business incubation, assistance in obtaining capital financing, and professional support services as participants develop their businesses.

8-Week Entrepreneurship Course

Our Entrepreneurship course covers the fundamentals of business including the entrepreneurial mindset, business planning, business licensing, operations, marketing, financing, and accounting. This course is designed to prepare participants to manage a for profit business or nonprofit opportunity.

Participants will receive career counseling, business coaching, and credit counseling.

10 month Business Incubation/ Acceleration

The 2nd phase of the EMPOWER! Program consists of professional business coaching/ consultation and access to professional services such as logo design, web design, business planning, licensing, marketing, and capital financing assistance.

Financing

Participants will receive support in terms of assistance in obtaining crowd funding, grants, angel investors, and traditional financing.

Support

Our team of professionals will also assist participants in acquiring mentorship, internship, contracting, or apprentice opportunities where applicable.

We will support students through the process of launching their businesses and generating revenue using the lean model where students start businesses on a small sustainable scale with the plan to grow over time.
